The GMT-WT does not only display the time in the current location but also all the other 24 time zones of our planet. The hour and minute hands indicate the local time at the centre of the dial. The "mysterious" floating 24-hour scale surrounds it together with the external ceramic bezel that bears the names of the 24 cities that distinguish the 24 time zones. The local time is that in the zone represented by the city at the top of the watch in the 12 o'clock position. The time in any other zone is indicated by the 24-hour scale opposite the name of the respective city. The "misterious floating 24 hours scale make one turn per day.
